Book Recommendation by Miss Caren - Bluey: Perfect

Book recommendation by Miss Caren in the morning assembly on 16^th September, 2025:

Have you ever met a playful blue puppy named Bluey?

Let me tell you about one of Bluey's books called Perfect!

In this story, Bluey wants to draw the most perfect card ever for her dad. But when she looks at her drawing... It’s not what she imagined!

So, she tries again.
And again.
But it still doesn’t feel perfect.

She feels so frustrated that she just wants to give up!

Then her mum comes over and reminds Bluey of what her dad always says, “It’s a good thing you’re tough!”

This book isn’t called Perfect because the drawing is perfect. It’s called Perfect because Bluey learns something super important:

What makes something special isn’t that it’s perfect…
It’s that you tried your best and NEVER gave up!

We have an English word for this: perseverance. It means to keep trying even when it’s hard.

And the best part? You don’t have to be tough all by yourself. Your teachers, your family, and your friends are all here to help you!
